Yes, the Sensibo Shield filters are available only by subscription. Sensibo Shield filters should be replaced every 3 months and clean filters are automatically shipped to your doorstep right on time.

While both the Sensibo Shield and the Sensibo Pure purify your air and protect against common viruses, the Sensibo Shield allows you to convert your AC into an air purifier. This provides a comprehensive air quality solution without the need for an additional appliance. Additionally, the Sensibo Shield filters apply the IN-EX medical coating that kills viruses and bacteria (e.g. SARS-COV-2). This coating is currently not available for Sensibo Pure filters.

The Sensibo Shield filters are designed to allow for ample airflow through your AC, while still catching airborne pollutants. Their custom made semi-permeable material ensures that air passes while the airborne pollutants get trapped. Additionally, to ensure optimal results, the Sensibo Shield filters should only cover approximately 30% to 50% of your existing filters area.

If your AC properly cools the room, coverage should be 100%. Your AC is equipped with a high efficiency fan that makes sure to circulate all the air in the room. In fact, a typical AC fan circulates the volume of air in your room 6 times an hour.
